The Game of Cricket and How It Resembles Baseball

Cricket is an English game and Baseball is an American game.  Both are wildly popular in their respective countries. 

Baseball has two teams and nine players.  It is played in the middle of a field and players run between four bases in a specific direction.  There are nine innings of play and the team which scores the most runs wins. A typical game could take two to six hours, depending on how long it takes each team to man the field and play the inning. 

Cricket also has two teams and eleven players.  Played in the middle of a field, there are two bases, which are sixty-six feet apart.  There is only one inning of play and the ball can be hit in any direction.  The winning team scores the most runs. A typical match takes as long as two baseball games.  Each inning can take as long as one complete baseball game.
